Our Spring, TX client is in need of a Contract Analyst for a Direct Hire opportunity.
Summary:
Seeking a Contract Analyst to join our clients legal team in the Houston area. They are a rapidly growing energy services provider with over 1500 employees and multiple locations throughout Texas and the surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Job Duties:
Draft, analyze and negotiate master services agreements, vendor agreements, real estate leases and a variety of other third party agreements.
Communicate and serve as main point of contact for company’s subcontractors and vendors.
Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to obtain all information required by company, and maintain company database of subcontractors and vendors.
Assist in management of third party service contracts and compliance, and generally overseeing subcontractor and supplier compliance.
Assist with managing state and local regulatory compliance throughout Texas and other states.
Provide ongoing assistance to project management teams to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and legal requirements for services performed and adherence to company protocols in handling incidents and issues.
Maintain master contract files and assist in ensuring contract compliance.
Conduct legal research, draft contracts and revisions to assist in everyday company operations.
Perform other related duties assigned by management or necessitated by responsibilities.
Qualifications:
J.D. Degree with 0-2 years of relevant legal experience.
Willingness to learn and receive training from other attorneys.
Professional and highly organized.
Very strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone and via email.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Ability to anticipate tasks in need of completion and work independently.
